Progress Update March 16th
Added 2023-03-16 17:15:54 +0000 UTCHi friends, how's going? I'll start off by saying at this point a full demo by end of March is probably not happening. Instead, I'm probably going to release an "alpha version of the demo" that you guys can try out and give me some feedback on. And then in April, I'll flesh out the demo and hopefully be able to release a full demo by the end of the month. Currently the demo is probably too short, since the living simulation (day time) part of the game play loop is not yet completed and I'm still missing scenes for the first night.
Apologies for taking this long to release a demo, but for this genre of game (FNAF style) establishing the first day-night gameplay loop is basically half of the development for the entire game. Subsequent updates will definitely come a lot easier and a lot faster, no cap.
Attached are some other scenes that the player will see during the first night. If you have any ideas on how to balance the game or implement FNAF mechanics, please feel free to chat with me about it in our discord server.
