Patreon alternative

Hi! Some of you may know that Patreon now has a history of banning creators. Since community support is a large part of my income, it becomes more and more risky to have it all in one basket.
I also know some of you might be conflicted giving money to creators because it also supports Patreon. That's why I've opened an alternative crowdfunding page at SubscribeStar.

I understand! These are real concerns, though there are really not that many other alternatives that I've heard of. I will check if there are ways to set up subscription using bitcoin for those who use bitcoins.

2018-12-27 10:07:09 +0000 UTCI was about to message you and tell you I wanted to eventually terminate my Patreon account. I've heard some negative things about SubscribeStar, so I won't be using it until people can verify that it isn't as scammy as I've heard. In the meantime, I'm looking for a Bitcoin-based alternative instead. I think that would be the best thing because it's literally impossible to get banned from Bitcoin.
