quite late to respond to this, but i joined the pengus later anyway, so catch up with older content little by little :) i regards to the question at hand, yes i was in that situation with a very good friend of mine when i was in my teenager times. we were kinda at the point where we could finish eachothers sentences without problems, but it never really evolved into anything more intimate. on ym end i didn't want to make our friendship awkward by telling her (in case she doesn't feel the same way) and some months later she had a boyfriend, so i felt it would be an even worse time to tell her. time passend and i think like 2 or 3 years later when i moved away already due to work, i spoke to another female friend of mine who said i should at least tell her in some way...at that time we sadly barely had contact anymore but i still visited the area due to family occasionally, so i wrote her a letter where i mentioned it. due to this day i don't even know if she ever read the letter x)

Maybe somethign happened - her bf got jealous or perhaps she lost her phone or whatever reason. Dont be discouraged by that - although ofc it sucks loosing a friend. You are worthy enough and hopefully you will love again one day

She had a boyfriend at that time - of course I was devestated but we stayed friends and everything was alright. But a few months ago she just stopped responding to my messages. Out of nowhere. They did like me back but had to move to another country for work and we decided that it was best to stay friends instead. We still play games and stuff all the time.
