Hello Diamond Hard patrons! I have a few updates that will really get the ball rolling on Project Palawan. I have come up with the name of the series and its protagonist, and would like your input. Depending on your comments, concerns, or approval, the new name will become replace the name "Project Palawan". So please, comment after reviewing the following!

The new name series and its protagonist are as follows:

Tropical Storm Dax: A Boys' Love Island Paradise

The series could simply be called Dax, or Tropical Storm Dax. I chose this name because it indicates that it is a BL series, takes place in a tropical setting, and involves some chaos of sorts.

The logo is not final.

The new name of the protagonist is as follows:

Name: Dax

Legal Name: Daxton Skylar

I chose the name Dax because it sounds like a typical gamer handle, so that is what he is known as in the e-sports world. Dax is nice and short, and easy to remember. Another very interesting thing I was told, which suits him very well, is that the Filipino slang word "daks" means "well-endowed"! So this would make for a few subtle jokes among the resort staff.

As for his legal name, I figured Dax would be short for something, so I made it Daxton. For his last name, that was taken from a round table discussion at the beginning of this month, where Dwebble suggested the name Skylar. Interestingly, many other suggested very similar names, Tyler West suggested Kyle, or Ryder. so there is a lot of KY happening it seems lol.

J. Scott Konetski suggested Flynn, and Beyer0 suggested similarly Finn. Could that be a middle name?

Please comment below on what you think. I had such a hard time coming up with a name I liked for the series, I thought of Typhoon Dax, but that is kind of hard to say and sounds like a disaster. I also thought of Trouble In Paradise, or other titles that referenced the Diamond Hard Tier. One name that would have been perfect was "Paradise Lust", but interestingly that name has already been taken by a straight dating game!

As for the subtitle of "A Boys' Love Island Paradise", this could also change to "A BL Paradise", "A Yaoi Paradise" (though I dislike using the word yaoi), and so on. Or it could be omitted altogether. Maybe it could also indicate your involvement, like "Let's Make a BL Together!"

And for the name of the protagonist, let me know what you think? Do you like or hate it? Do you have other suggestions?
