Hello Patrons! I am back after a vacation that has got me rejuvenated and full of creative energy. As usual, I will be providing animation and artwork this month as normal. A special preview of The Emperor’s Harem is expected to come out this month.

I am also starting a new experimental format on the Diamond Hard Tier called Project Palawan, which will replace the now-retired Artwork Suggestion Box. Here are the details:

Project Palawan: Let’s make a BL story together!

On a tropical island resort, men from various walks of life cross paths. What kind of horny encounters could happen? Diamond Hard Patrons, it’s up to you to say who sleeps with who!

Project Palawan has a somewhat experimental miniseries format, with some animated scenes, and some storytelling in the form of small comics, or written stories. It encourages audience participation, and is a successor to the now-retired Diamond Hard Tier artwork suggestion box. Diamond Hard Patrons can make suggestions on characters, scenarios, storylines, etc., as well as vote in polls to determine the next encounter. I am hoping this format turns out to be a lot of fun!

What we are making is a small universe, with chance meetings between people, and intriguing storylines. While much of it is very open-ended, there is a simple structure that is a basis for the story: A solo traveler spends several days on a tropical island resort, encounters various characters, and at the end of his stay, ends up leaving with another character.

As for the scope of the project, it very much depends on how popular this format becomes. It could end quickly if things are not working, or it could go on for several encounters. The form factor is still also being figured out, as I cannot realistically animate all of the stories, and hope to find a good format such as comics to supplement the animated scenes. At this moment Project Palawan is in an evolving state, and the more we flesh it out, the more concrete the form will become.

To participate in Project Palawan, you would need to be a Diamond Hard Patron.

Project Palawan is the working title of the project, and a final name will be decided later.
