YES! Half way there! I finally got the Unity to talk with the Intiface! Check out the quick and dirty video HERE!
There is lots of work ahead, and the biggest issue at the moment is to get it to work with the Unity version I'm building the FD3 with. After that it's matter of figuring out the thrusting system accuracy.
An Update for this Update;
I built a quick and dirty scene with Unity 2022, and in Editor it works. Compiling fails, but I should get the 2019 version tomorrow to play with (which compiles).
It's actually quite complex to setup the toy. Currently I have non-linear animation loop, where the depth and the speed varies, and the Onyx timing is perfect! The trick y part is to adjust the thrusting speed from A->B, so it's not just ramming to one end and and wait there for a new command.
Also, my Onyx goes to error mode if the speed is too small, so what I've done to tackle both of these, is adjusting the thrusting speed according the animation speed and the thrusting distance.
When the thrusting distance is small, and the animation speed is small, the toy speed is higher preventing the error mode (bit ramming).
If all stars are aligned, I will release the current scene on Friday. The scene is like a FIT, but not VR. I need your input from different toys and how they work with the demo scene. I only have the Onyx, so your input is VERY important!
