An open letter to who ever you are

Background; anything released here goes public. This is an open letter to the person doing it.

Hey, I've noticed you share everything I create in public forums. You support our goal, but same time you have this urge to be a good guy and get credit for yourself. Your credit comes from the work I do. You steal.

You stain my reputation by releasing content which is not complete. The F95 is a good example of this; you release stuff without explaining any background of anything.

PLEASE do understand, I work really hard for anything I create, and you are one of the guys which kills us indies. Yes, if you just want to have big studio releases, go ahead! Do understand, by doing this, you will limit also your own selection of the titles in the future.

Personally I believe, the power to change anything comes from the differences. And this comes from the small ones, like me.

Let me come to your home, steal your jacket and the shoes you wear every day walking to your collage/work and brag of it in public. How would you feel about it?

Honestly, I have no idea where the self pride of the people has gone. Go low as you can seems to be the new normal for some of us.

I'm so sorry for you, because in 10 years you will regret what you've done. And you will remember these words.

I honestly wish all the best for your life and hope you find the honest path in your heart.

Jari

The Problem is not the f95 poster, i think he has it from an other site that published all content from here ( will not call the Name of that site to prevent members to cancel membership here). The only way is to protect the content with PW per PM and change it mouthly.

I really hope this person will stop sharing content this way.

I don't have much time right now, but I totally agree. Stealing is not good, and this is exactly stealing. You want to fill the site with content not made by you and make money on advertising, and this is exactly theft. I fully subscribe to the open letter.

I hope you can ban or penalize people who do that

I can just hope people understand better and let your stuff be in peace. i will be a higer paying member on your patreon side so i can play your so good games i have playd a littel of them and they are amazing

Marcus Berggren

I know this is impossible to prevent. I'm more worried of the unfinished content leaks, as those get bad comments and doesn't reflect the quality of the work.

I thinks to try to find him and block him/her is useless. One new credit card and a VPN and he has a new account. (I am an IT engineer and know a little about it) Better use the Elon Musk way. Just develop the shit out of it and stay ahead of the competition and rule by progress. Everybody will recognize and flame the lame looser. It's like China coping Elon Musk and other cool products. Just beat them with something they dont have and will not have; creativity. These people are pathetic because they have no cool of their own.

Can you not watermark in batches that will narrow it down.

i think there is a way you can track it back through an ip address, it might cost a couple $ but worth it if you can kick him off patreon ect

Fuck that person too. They're an asshole. At the same time, worrying about privacy and leaks will kill you. It's sadly a fact of life. It's even possible it wasn't a patron directly but that someone who is a patron gave a copy to a friend who either posted it or gave a copy to a friend etc etc .... I'm not trying to excuse them. I'm only suggesting if you read anything on the net about this type of behavior your only way forward is to not let it bother you because it will happen forever and sadly there's nothing you can do :(

FUCK THAT GUY. I will always support you Citor. Know that you have true fans out there.
