We are now getting into the land of coloring and shading.
Sometimes this part can be fun, other times a huge pain in the ass.
Comparing the two images above, you can see the progress of applying shades and highlights. For stuff like this it sometimes comes down to experimenting. How do the colors interact? Is the color helping or hindering the staging. Because of the darkness of the scene, this becomes very important. Making sure everything reads. It turns into a lot of pushing and pulling.
Another thing I've been slowly working on are the text and word bubbles.
Making sure they also fit within the scene.
Getting closer to finish on this one.
Just need to do the last two panels and give the page one last check, then its on to you, the reader.
