My guess is they covered something up back then and I feel like we’ll get the answers we’re looking for as the show goes on, I’m still liking it, it’s not my favorite by any means but I think the story will grow

Mae didn't contact Osha. Osha had a dream where she woke up from the ship crash, then chased her sister, then she actually woke up after the prisoner transport ship crashed for the first time. Pretty sure the visions/memories of Mae aren't meant to be taken literally. If a character in another real world story has a dream where a serial murderer says "I WILL KILL YOU!", we don't automatically assume that killer themselves actually mentally sent them that message. I'm not sure why some people aren't digging the story. Obviously The Jedi did something shameful when they recruited Osha and thought Mae died and their parents ended up killed in the fire. The mystery of what and why that shameful thing is, and how a Jedi Master as nice as Sol was a part of it, is why we're watching. I'm sure being pulled in! Corruption of The Jedi is a regular theme for Star Wars. The how and why in this instance are very intriguing to me. My guess is the 4 Jedi who were there were trying to save Sol from parents who's views they disagreed with and somehow ended up in a situation where they themselves caused they fire, didn't intend to kill Mae, but Mae ended up appearing to die along with the parents. Maybe their parents were bad parents? Possible something like a situation where their parents were abusive druggies(spice?) or something. Mae, while escaping, assumed her sister didn't make it out. It's possible The Jedi framed it on Mae, or I guess it's possible there was some sort of misunderstanding from each individual POV. Maybe this was an instance of Jedi Totalitarianism, thinking what they think is right should be forced upon others where they thought acquiring a new youngling was better than leaving her with her family. The Wookie Jedi, in a similar thing to Torbin being mentally alone, is living alone in a crashed ship in isolation, so it's possible he has great shame and just wants to be left alone too. The arc in Clone Wars with Mace and Jar Jar mentioned briefly that at one point it was believed Jedi kidnapped younglings to train them. Perhaps this is an instance where that happened.

Just watched the reaction part (can't sit through the show again) but if you guys don't want to finish it please don't feel forced to for us. From how dejected Joe and Drew looked, I can tell you don't want to keep watching. Also thank you Drew for realizing a lot of us who "had concerns" about the show and the showrunners prior to the release weren't all "haters" or whatever other label people tried to slap on us. I just based my expectations off of previous knowledge of the writer and literally how everything she ever said in interviews seemed to be as if she was intentionally trying to make people dislike her and her opinions. Hopefully Disney wakes up at some point and realizes how many billions of dollars they're losing and how they're destroying franchises. BTW, a meme online is that "ANDOR WAS AN ACCIDENT" since it was so good and so sophisticated. I truly think that's accurate. Tony Gilroy was begged to come in to SAVE Rogue One and ANDOR and they let him have full control eventually and didn't let the normal execs ruin it. Thank god for that!
