Such a great episode with such great values for young kids to witness. Real wisdom being taught to children from any background or from anywhere around the world and done through a wonderful and entertaining medium. All without being "preachy" or "artificial" like so many shows are today. Amazing what great writing can accomplish when creative storytellers have truly authentic motivations and not self-interested forced attempts to make themselves look virtuous to the viewer. You know real positivity when you see it and it resonated much much more.

For me their chemistry together is so strong and they fit so well together. I wished they were a thing instead but I still love how the story played out.

2024-06-02 01:56:23 +0000 UTCLife-changing field trip with Zuko No. 3: Complete. Aw man oh man oh man ๐ญ while this is objectively a great episode, subjectively I have mixed feelings about it. They quite frankly showed a side of katara I never wished to see. But as I listened to the discussion at the end, my heart kinda softened. Perhaps this was the therapy that katara needed to move forward. And the fact that she did all that and yet never took a life when she easily could've? I think that counts for something.

2024-06-01 21:42:32 +0000 UTCYou see the moment Zuko recognizes the depth and breadth of Katara's threat to him at thae start when she blood bends. This was sucha good episode and I really like how this last stretch of eps are letting characters seize moments towards healing for their own growth. Rounding out how far they've all come since Book 1.
