Poor Pyrra feeling obsolete... but dont worry im sure there is a use for her somewhere, Thalia will probably need someone to help her "recover" after battles.

I'm assuming that because Thalia grew so large straight way is because the spell she intended to cast was going to spread throughout the group and when the crystal shattered all that stored energy went straight to her. So is she going to return to normal after the spell wears off, and I'm hoping that Pyrra will get the chance to level the playing field at some point.
