You know? I was always told that life gets better when you have a pet to care for!
After everything she had done, Natalie not only learned her lesson but was quick to learn her place. It turns out all that bitching and bravado was just to mask how much of a submissive little whelp she truly was on the inside. Had I only taken this initiative years ago perhaps we would have had a healthier friendship up until this point, but I’d like to think this is the healthiest form of friendship we ever could have had!
The world looks at us with shock and disgust, but there’s naught a single thing any regular person can do about it. They look at Natalie and see a woman who is tantamount to a dog and wince, then look towards me and immediately understand they are lucky to not be placed in the same situation. They fear me. They’re in awe of me. I bottle up all that joy they give me with their shocked and stunned faces and take it out on Natalie every time we return back home to her own amusement. She’s had no problem kissing the ring if it meant she gets to live happily fed and happily pleasured.
This was the life I was always meant to have. I had lived a shadow of my real self for too long and now I stand resplendent above the everyday rabble. I have become the light of life that shines through the darkness, a beacon that leads others to follow in my wake.
I am the life well lived.
