KPop Demon Hunters | FULL UNCUT Reactions

This is the best animation movie I ever watched and this animation is similar to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse. I rate this movie 10 out of 10 best! The facial expressions are absolutely hilarious! Hahaha! 😂 In Korean mythology, the term for demons or mischievous spirits is Dokkaebi (도깨비), also known as Korean goblins. They are legendary creatures with supernatural powers, sometimes helpful and sometimes mischievous. Some demons were humans before. Specifically, Jinu, a character who becomes a demon, was previously a human who made a deal with the devil-like figure Gwi-Ma in exchange for power and fame. This deal corrupted him, turning him into a demon. The film explores the idea that demons in this universe are essentially corrupted humans, motivated by desires and regrets. Kimbap translates to seaweed (“kim”) rice (“bap”) which Rumi tried gulping down. Kimbap is a Korean dish made from vegetables, and optionally cooked seafood or meat, rolled in sheets of seaweed and served in bite-sized slices. There are other Korean dishes featured in this movie, including ramyeon, naengmyeon, and seolleongtang. Naengmyeon - This is a cold noodle dish, it's also a North Korean specialty. Seolleongtang - This is a milky white beef bone soup, often topped with beef and scallions. The feast also includes hard-boiled eggs with bread, shrimp crackers, odeng-guk (fish cake soup), and sweet hotteok pancakes. There's also a Korean sausage called soondae. Rumi is revealed to be part demon, a fact concealed from her throughout her life as a demon hunter. Her mother, Ryu Mi-yeong, was a member of the Starlight Sisters, a previous generation of demon hunters, and died shortly after Rumi's birth. Rumi's father is a demon, though the movie doesn't specify who he is or how he and Mi-yeong met. Rumi's demonic heritage is evident through patterns on her skin. "Kaja" means "let’s go" in Korean. Also, "oppa" means "older brother" in Korean. The Saja Boys wear a stylized version of the traditional Korean grim reaper outfit, called the jeoseung saja. This outfit consists of black robes and a wide-brimmed hat called a gat. Bipa refers to a traditional pear-shaped lute instrument. It's a key part of Korean music, similar to the Chinese pipa and also related to the Japanese biwa and Vietnamese dan ty ba. There are two main types: the dang-bipa, influenced by Chinese pipa, and the hyang-bipa, which is more indigenous to Korea. Rumi's pattern color changes and other events occur at the end of the movie as a result of her journey of self-acceptance and the final battle against Gwi-Ma. The world can also see the demons towards the ending which the Saja Boys, reveal their true demonic forms to the public. I'm glad the audience are free from the hypnosis. The bird with three eyes on its side is a magpie. The magpie named Sussy, accompanies the tiger named Derpy, and is inspired by Korean folk art. Specifically, the movie draws inspiration from the minhwa art style featuring tigers and magpies. Minhwa means painting of the people or popular painting originating during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). The end credits song of "Takedown" is performed by Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung from the K-pop group TWICE which is shown in the footage during the end credits.
