Great reaction. Shame about the subtitles. When I watched it on Max and Netflix, it had the subs, but for some reason they don't have it on Disney Plus neither, which is weird. If you have any questions about the scenes in Spanish, don't hesitate to ask. Now, it's not actually based on a true story (which I thought it did the first time I watched, too, XD), but it takes inspiration on some real life events, like Aaron pointed in another comment. Again, great reaction. Onto the next one.

Quinnell, which was inspired by two kidnapping cases: the refusal of a Singaporean businessman to pay ransom for his kidnapped son, leading to the son's death, and the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III, the grandson of oil magnate J. Paul Getty, in Rome in 1973. The character of John Creasy, portrayed by Denzel Washington, is a fictional creation of A. J. Quinnell, appearing in several of his novels.
