Okoye series got canceled at Marvel Television and it's a spin-off of Black Panther movie. During an interview with Pay or Wait on YouTube, Brad Winderbaum said, "I think fans of Okoye are going to be excited to see her come back, but I don't think it's going to be in a television show. I can't say where and when, but I think there's a lot to look forward to." Okoye spinoff series was first reported to be in development in 2021, as part of Black Panther director Ryan Coogler's five-year overall exclusive television deal with Disney. Also, there has been recent rumors from Jeff Sneider claiming that a source told him that an X-Academy series is in the early planning stages at Marvel Television.

2025-02-26 07:32:48 +0000 UTCJust letting you know, I did mentioned about Nova series is in development at Marvel Television, but there has been changes. According to Deadline, Marvel Television has paused development on three projects: Nova, Strange Academy, and Terror Inc. Sources stressed to tell Deadline that these projects were never officially greenlit, and may still come to fruition at some point. The studio has simply shifted its priorities at the moment. Sources also told Deadline that the decision is also reflective of a new model for producing television that’s emerged at Marvel in recent years. Originally, Marvel approached series development in much the same way it handled features: a slate was announced, and what was teased was more or less what got made. A couple of years ago, senior leadership decided to retool the development process. There has been recent reports that Marvel wants to make Agatha All Along Season 2 and Marvel also confirms that Hawkeye Season 2 is happening possibly. According to Entertainment Weekly, during the interview with Brad Winderbaum from Marvel Television, when they asked how Marvel thinks about limited versus linear series, using Agatha All Along running for Emmys in the main comedy category as a reference, he said, "I think it's 'linear series potential,' a show like Agatha, to me, is concept based. Yes, a second season for sure is something that we would want to do, but let's not rush it. Let's get the right idea and then make it." For Hawkeye Season 2, he said, "Hawkeye is another one that feels like you can make a second season of that show because it's Christmas, because it's Clint and Kate. You can kind of revisit it whenever, and we're looking for opportunities to do that. But as we develop things for the future, I think they're going to be designed to be multiple seasons, have more of a pattern, and be able to be released annually."
