My apologies! One more thing, Dalgona can also be pronounced with the "L" in English. In Korean, they pronounced it "Dai-go-na" which doesn't sound like an "L".

2025-02-10 04:38:44 +0000 UTCI noticed the YouTube short of this episode that you posted and if I may suggest, I think it would be best to change the subtitles setting from English (CC) to English because when he discovers the umbrella shape dalgona, he didn't say "I'm dead". The correct translation is that he actually said, "I'm screwed".

At the beginning of this episode, when Jun-ho is about to go on the ship, he uses the communication app called KakaoTalk. KakaoTalk is the instant messaging app created by Kakao Corporation which is a South Korean company. It's kind of like WhatsApp. On his iPhone and from the previous messages, it said "Send to your email", from the chief: "Bring it to me on paper right now, not by email." And he types "Chief, I can't go to the station today. I'll contact you later." When it's bed time and while Jun-ho is on bed in dark while going undercover as pink guard which is number 029, on his iPhone, he's typing on notes app about his reports. He's not using any communication apps during that time. The front of his door 029 is door 039. The door next to 029 is 028 who felt suspicious. Dalgona is a candy made with melted sugar and baking soda. It is a popular street snack from the 1970s in South Korea. When this series came out few years ago, Dalgona became a trending food due to popular trend of Squid Game series. Dalgona is pronounced "Dai-go-na". Also, the word "dalgona" translates to "it's sweet" in Korean. The candy is part of a competitive game where players must separate an imprinted shape from the candy without breaking it. Triangle shapes are easy and the umbrella shapes are very difficult. When player 119 got the pink manager as hostage, the pink soldiers immediately shot and killed the players who were unable to peel off their assigned Dalgona shape within the time limit. It was shocking that player 119 committed suicide after discovering the face reveal of the pink manager. Front Man is very cruel when he shot the guy who had shown his face.
