As far as I understand it as a TV watcher, when LOST episodes are aired on other networks they are required to fit exactly into an hr with commercials. I may get some of the lingo wrong because I'm no expert, but the way I understand it is, when a network wants to air an episode of LOST or any other show during a random time of the day they want it to end exactly when the hr is over so the process is simple and uncomplicated. Every once in a while I see an episode playing on FX, or UPN, or another random cable or local tv station, like late at night on TBS, or ABC Family(does that exist anymore?). The same thing happens with all other shows which go into syndication which is the sale or licensing of material for publication or broadcasting by a number of television stations. The networks(ABC in this case) edits some scenes out so that any channel the show is broadcast onto can fit it into an hr at any time without having to edit it themselves. This happened quite often with shows which aired at 9pm(an hr before local news airs on the West Coast). Sometimes also instead of editing them down, live news is shown on the right side alongside the credits of TV shows(used to happen all the time with The Simpsons) if a Simpsons episode was a little too long to fit exactly within an hr for the purposes of not limiting the show's creative ability. For some reason the TV networks license the syndication versions of all episodes of TV series to streaming sites instead of the complete versions of the episodes which originally aired. Why? I wish I knew. Maybe they're cheaper?

If you remember in the comments of the Ben episode Dead is Dead, I mentioned a hint for which would be revealed at end of this season and what's been going on which was one word: Superman. What I mean is this: Whenever Superman was around Clark Kent was no where to be found, just like when the smoke monster came around, John was all, "BRB" Ben. I don't know if you guys ever noticed, but in the first orientation film we saw for The Swan, the main hatch, Dr. Chang's left hand is motionless, as if he can't use it. Yet in all the other orientation videos which he filmed before The Swan station's completion his arm was fine. Now with the drill falling onto his hand you know why. I feel now is also a good time to remind you guys that you already know the fate of the crazy bald guy on a power trip "Radzinski" who wants to change the world. You know how he died from Season 2 of the show. He's the guy of course who designed "The Hatch", "The Swan". He's also the guy who was with Kelvin, Desmond's original shift partner who brought him in, he was his original partner. When telling Desmond about what happened to Radzinski Kelvin points at a brown blood stain on the celling, after he blew his brains out. Oh Tom with his crazy theories!๐Ÿ˜ Locke has not been to or come from the future other than what we've seen earlier in the season. I'm not sure how that thought occurred to him. I mean we've been with who we thought was Locke this whole time. Gotta say, I had a bit of another "What show is Tom watching?" moment again. ๐Ÿ˜‚
