It's hard-coded into her by the wish egg/ whatever was left of Irumyuui. She never met the "mother" whose pains she was basically born brainwashed into caring about. She's kinda more of a robot than Reg is.

2024-04-04 04:42:21 +0000 UTCI take the "time to awaken, time has come" as Belaf thinking that it's finally time to pay the piper, and he's happy about it. He wanted to be punished, wanted Irumyui to take everything from him. He didn't want to go on after what they had done. But she turned him into something beautiful instead, and he's spent 150 (layer 6) years trapped and sucking the life out of other hollows. I believe he would welcome Faputa's vengeance, especially if it meant his own destruction. I feel like that's what he's been waiting for all this time. Should also note that I think Nanachi was sharing Belaf's dream, not Irumyui's. In the flashback episodes, we saw him lurking and watching Vueko and Iru. That was from his perspective.
