Animation Movie POLL- Vote today!
Added 2022-01-24 17:00:08 +0000 UTCHi all! We are changing up our animation POLL this month and will return to our normal POLLS next month! I live with my boyfriend, who tested positive for Covid-19, so Mom doesn't want us reacting this week (totally understandable!). We are ahead with our shows, so those will run as normal mostly. Movies we need to spread out since we don't have extra Movie Reactions, besides Encanto (amazing movie)! Encanto will premiere here this weekend! We plan on seeing Eternals as soon as we can get together next week if I don't test positive. Wookie/Ryan is doing well!
Any trolling, do not engage. Let me know and I'll handle it. That person will be banned and then their VOTES will disappear. We want to keep this fair and fun.

2022-01-24 22:16:52 +0000 UTCSPIRITED AWAY: Should it win, I'm going to repeat my perhaps controversial suggestion that the English language version is fine. It really is done well. (It was overseen by Disney, who also helped produce the movie.) And it's not like dubbed live-action shows/movies where the replacement dialogue is awkward and unnatural. Since the animation in this case was done BEFORE any voices were recorded (in any language) the English is just as valid as the Japanese. Also, I've found that some people have difficulty getting into the story, perhaps because it's so unlike what they're used to. The English language version might help ensure an easier time settling in.
