Just had a thought -- last episode Locke told Jack, "Who are we to tell anyone what they can or cannot do?" But then in this episode Locke flies off the handle at Charlie and confiscates his drug stash. Sure, he was mad Charlie lied to him, but his actions completely contradict his attitude toward letting Michael make his own decisions, even if they are potentially lethal. Locke's being a massive hypocrite (or the writers are just not talking to each other).
