Channel Update for June and July!

We love reacting and creating content for you all and have been working very hard to share videos every day. It's very time consuming being a content creator!
Back in late February of this year, I had severe anemia and was very sick because of it. I've never experienced anemia that bad before and it was a struggle for me to get back to normal. I just had another 'episode' last week where I ended up back in the ER and now I need surgery at the end of this month. I'm giving you the very basic version of what's going on, but if you want to know more, I will provide that at the bottom of this message. I don't want to make people uncomfortable who don't want to know details... and I don't mind sharing either :)
Anywho, we will continue to work hard to provide as much of the same content to you over the next few weeks and soon things will be back on our normal schedule. This week I had to be realistic (since I'm a workaholic and am passionate about our channel) so I decided it was best to put our videos on pause this Monday-Friday (besides the new Loki show). We've only paused videos once before throughout our entire channel's existence, so you know how dedicated we are to providing content :)
Our future still looks bright and we will always provide fun content for you as long as we keep getting support from our wonderful fans, so thank you for staying with us through these hard times! Only this week and maybe another down the road will be paused because of healing, but we'll see! At least one movie this weekend if not two as well.

DETAILS ABOUT STORM/DAWN'S HEALTH THAT MAY MAKE SOME UNCOMFORTABLE:

Hi all! Many of you have been so caring and supportive about my health and I can't thank you enough! I never like to sound vague and me talking about anemia has opened up so many questions where fans want to help me in any way they can... and I'm so humbled by all of you reaching out!
So bottom line is, this is a uterus thing. Blah! I have huge fibroids/tumors in my uterus (which I found out about just over a year ago) which caused heavy periods every month for the last few years. I thought it was normal for me since I've always had them heavy, but they got significantly worse over the last 3 years. Finally, it was out of control where I couldn't leave my house for 2 days straight each month because nothing could control the bleeding, not even pads (graphic I know... but I could be way more specific, LOL). This past February I lost just over 4 pints of blood in less than 2 days. It was so scary and doctors argued that I should of had a blood transfusion... but my case is rare and most doctors didn't believe at first how much blood I lost and was still losing. I even took pictures to show them because it sounded exaggerated, but they didn't want to see them and constantly wheeled me to the bathroom to clean up (still without checking me!). They did blood tests to see my hemoglobin levels and one doctor finally told me if I truly lost that much blood, the hemoglobin results they had currently would be a false reading and I would need another blood test in 48 hours to see my true levels. My heart rate was 180 and calmed to 150 that day which puzzled the doctors and nurses because I was so calm.. but in hindsight, it's because I lost too much blood way too fast and my heart was struggling to keep up. Anywho, I was tested again a few days later and had severe anemia so they realized that I was not exaggerating that I lost a few pints of blood. Since then, I had a normal to heavy period every day for the last 3.5 months even on birth control. Hemoglobin levels take a long time to build back up... usually around 3 months for severe anemia... so I felt almost back to normal in May, and had a severe bleed again last week. This time, the ER understood and believed me on what was going on since they saw the proof... did another ultrasound amongst other things and my uterus is deformed and the size of a medium to almost large basketball. There is little to no lining left to shed so my arteries and veins are exposed and my uterus can't contract to stop any blood flow... so any stress or pressure put onto that area makes me bleed very heavy and sometimes severely. I'm on double birth control and have a blood thickener med to slow down the bleeding... which seems to be working the last few days!
So I need to have a abdominal hysterectomy at the end of this month. Doh! It's sad, but honestly, I'm at the point where I want some normalcy back in my life and don't want to be terrified of bleeding out. That's the worse feeling! I am so lucky to have you all and relieved I'm still able to create content. It's mentally freeing and I don't have to really move when I'm editing, LOL! Oh! And most women get fibroids, but they are usually harmless and stay tiny! I just want the attention apparently, LOL!
Mentally I'm doing good and staying strong. The stir crazy thing is I can't work out or move much at all... so our channel is keeping me sane right now. I was able to go for a slow short walk today too which was hopeful!

My surgery is on June 30th, so I'm trying my best to get as much done as possible so we can still provide our normal videos throughout the next couple months... some may be spread out, but we are hopeful most videos will still be on a normal schedule... give or take a couple weeks. I'm also thinking about trying to do more Behind the Scenes type videos after my surgery when I can't move for a while to keep my sanity, LOL! I know you love the channel, the community and getting to spend time watching great shows and movies with the family, but in comparison to your health, and overall life, that's what's important and needs to come first. I'm glad you're taking that stance, despite that I'm sure it's hard to stop doing something you love, even if for just a brief amount of time. It would completely blow my mind if even just one person in this community who loves your videos couldn't understand that, but luckily we have a really understanding and empathic community here to support you. I had a septoplasty a few years ago to straighten out my deviated septum since I could only really breathe out, but not in through one nostrils for my teens and most of my 20s. Getting it done sure makes exercise and sleeping easier now. About an hr after I got home I started vomiting and continued to nearly every hr for about 8 hrs which also caused my nose to hurt and bleed a lot from being drenched in vomit with it with the new stitches. It was my first time being under general anesthesia so I assume it had something to do with that. I couldn't believe how much blood, water, and snot was coming out of me, but I'm sure it was nothing compared to what you're going through. Stay strong and be careful. Hears to your future improved health. We love watching you guys here.
