This was very good! So much corruption and dedication within this plot. So tragic, yet intriguing how everything falls into place... even if it didn't go exactly as planned...

I disagree. I think Dooku knew as soon as Obi-wan refused to kill Moralo Eval after the Box. If you look at the box's challenges, it's pretty clear they weren't tests for the job. They were designed to do one thing: Sift out challengers for any Jedi imposters. Only a Jedi could survive all of those challenges combined, without the assistance of external equipment. Knowing this, the plan was brilliant: Lure the Order into sending an imposter to try to stop the plan, by strategically releasing information into the underworld. Sniff out the imposter, and let him dismantle the plot, but in a controlled way. Then, strike during the sense of security that follows. The objective of the plan? Drive a wedge between Anakin and the Jedi council, and more specifically, Obi-wan.

I thought the one shot was because the plan was simply to stun The Chancellor. That was all which was needed for Cad's plan, so that's all he gave him. Obi-wan knew it was a stun gun, but it looked like he didn't know he only had one shot. They couldn't have limited the ammo to 1 shot to prevent Obi-wan from stunning more of the badguy team yet because Dooku only found out it was him from listening to the bug in the gun case which Obi-wan was just given at the beginning of this episode. Very doubtful Dooku did that on purpose, because he only knew there was something about Hardeen he didn't trust, I really don't think he had any idea he was Obi-wan yet at that time, but he made him suspicious enough to plant the bug.

I'm pretty sure the reason Anakin died in Return of the Jedi is because the lightning damaged his mechanical life support, but watching Clone Wars almost gives the impression that after getting electrocuted so often in his early life the last bit he experienced as Vader was just the one which put him over the edge, almost like an obese person who had 1 more burger too many.

Anakin really wasn't in pain since that was his mechanical hand that got impaled but it probably increased Anakin's rage. :)

This arc is the first real blow to Anakin's faith in the Jedi Order.

The fork and knife didn't hurt Anakin because it was his mechanical arm lol, at this point he already lost his arm back in "Attack of the Clones" during his fight with Dooku. His gloved arm is his mechanical arm.
