Added 2021-01-04 18:01:03 +0000 UTCThe idea of the queen being a slave herself was very intriguing in the grand scheme of things. I actually really enjoyed her character.. strong, had class and a soft spot for Anakin. Her design was really fun too (crazy cat lady here), LOL!

I miss the old databank!! I remember going on it before the town I grew up in even got internet. Dialup was so expensive and my mom would let me browse for half an hour on weekends. I remember rushing through the site, I was a really dumb kid lol, could've copied the articles into a document or saved the page and read it offline ๐

2021-01-07 01:17:16 +0000 UTCThat's a REALLY good observation about Anakin taking the queen's body with him so now that whole planet has no reason to think The Jedi didn't kill her! Never thought about that. Star Wars does share a few exact same or similar animals as earth does. In The Phantom Menace as Jar Jar surfaces with Obi and Qui-gon a flock of birds flys away from the water. I remember this so well because one day I was browsing StarWars.com in approx. 2003 and I looked in their data bank of characters/creatures and noticed they had a type of creature listed among wookies, and quarrens, and gungans, and monkey lizards simple called... "birds". Haha.

2021-01-05 07:15:18 +0000 UTCI think Anakin was different in Clone Wars because he's not in a bad place In "Attack of the Clones" we see him obsessed to get Padme and in "Revenge of the Sith" we see him obsessed about the possibility of losing her but during the Clone Wars all is good between them, she's not pregnant (not that this is a bad thing but he started getting visions of her dying in childbirth) and the Jedi Council and Anakin are in good terms. Of course you will see all of this change towards the end of the show as we get closer to "Revenge of the Sith" I think up to the episode you watched today the only time we saw Anakin struggle was during the Mortis arc but the Father erased his memory so it hasn't affected him that much. Now the show is getting a lot darker and you will see him change.

The whole story was about Anakin's attachment to Padme since he was a little boy, and how that led him down a dark path. It's why Ahsoka fears for Grogu's attachment to Mando, because he could literally be another Anakin.
