Mandalorian 205 | FULL AKIMA Reactions

This was epic! I tried to be subtle by having Ahsoka cloaked far away in the background where she's not really too visible... to be respectful of spoilers... but then I saw pretty much every Mandalorian 2x5 thumbnail had Ahsoka front and center, LOL! Anywho, loved this! What did you think?! Expect Ratatouille next! :)

I'm not sure if any of you recognised him, but the ex-military gunslinger guy who was against Mando in this episode was the actor who played Hicks in Aliens and Kyle Reese in The Terminator. Also, the Magistrate was played by the goddaughter of Bruce Lee.

YES PLS. NOW FOR ONCE DO CLONE WARS FIRST PLS

Typhon, the planet Ahsoka is sending them to is new to Disney Canon but is well known in legends. So we haven't seen anything on it. I'm curious to see what Grogu does if they succeed to bring him to the temple on Typhon. My theory is that if he does reach out with the force I'm almost certain that the Jedi that will come searching for him is Luke Skywalker since at this time he's training a new generation of Jedi, and probably wants as many students as possible. At this point Ben Solo is really young and hasn't joined Luke yet, so Ben becoming Kylo Ren isn't a possibility at the moment.

You guys should read the Ahsoka novel. That explains her life after Clone Wars and how she got her white lightsabers. Of course, after you finish Clone Wars :)

Imagine if we get a Coruscant flashback of whoever took him from the temple while order 66 was going on!! With this show it wouldn't surprise me!! I hope Filoni gets to write and direct more episodes!

I thought Dawn meant Mortis. Cause she said "Traingle-shaped planet"

One more thing: the planet that Ahsoka mentioned at the end, Tython, actually ISN'T the one in the movies. I think you're thinking of where Luke trained Rey in the sequel movies, which is called Ahch-to. Tython hasn't been seen in the new canon yet, but it has appeared in older novels and video games and is where the Jedi originated.

Just to answer a question: the woman that Ahsoka fought, The Magistrate, Morgan Elsbeth, was actually first seen in this episode. We haven't seen or heard about her before.

So glad you all loved Ahsoka. Remember that name, Thrawn, for later in Rebels.

As far as I know, Thrawn's first appearance was in the novel 'Heir to the Empire', which was released in 1991. It was a very popular book which renewed interest in Star Wars at a time when there were no movies. These older books are not part of Disney canon, but it's interesting that the book was set in the exact same time as this show, so they could go with a similar story.

I’m glad Dave Filoni didn’t really spoil anything in this episode about what happened to Ahsoka in the Clone Wars, because there’s a lot!! It gives you guys and other people who haven’t watched CW a chance know more about her by watching it. Also ye that Thrawn guy is from Rebels, haven’t seen Rebels so I’ll need to watch that too lol. Anyways great reactions/review to this awesome episode!

Also I'm so happy that this episode didn't spoil that much of Clone Wars or Rebels. So you guys are in for big surprises :D

My favorite episode of Mandalorian so far. Even tho it wasn't Ahsoka's voice actor from the Clone Wars, Rosario Dawson did such a great job and it felt like Ahsoka.

This episode was awesome! Crazy to think that Grogu was around during the time of the prequels training on Coruscant. It makes me wonder who are the Masters that trained him and who took him from the Temple. It gives me goosebumps to think about the idea of Grogu reliving Order 66 before being hidden! Also, seeing Ahsoka in live-action for the first time was amazing! The voice threw me off a bit at first but she quickly grew on me! I did gasp at the "Grand Admiral Thrawn" namedrop, what a surprise! You ladies need to get on Rebels ASAP! Just kidding, I'm loving the pace you're going with the Clone Wars because that story needs to be savored because once you're done, you're done. Great episode! Was waiting for a Gideon encounter or fight since he was tracking the ship, but very glad for a happy ending especially since Ahsoka refused to train Grogu, fearing the worst! I hope we can get Hayden back for an Anakin flashback, seeing live-action Anakin and Ahsoka side-by-side would probably be the best thing Disney can do for the fandom lol
