2020-10-26 22:17:51 +0000 UTCI recommend reading the book Dark Disciple after you finish this series. It concludes Ventress's story. Not to say it's done with her story right now but it unfortunately won't be concluded in the Clone Wars.

2020-10-23 03:42:14 +0000 UTCI'm no expert on her character, and I'm sure I don't know the correct word for the type of person/philosophy Mother Talzan is/has, but it's like she doesn't have attachments or a emotional investment in the goals of those she helps and instructs. She is there to help but not to care. Maybe sort of an anarchist, she just does things. She is not on anyone's side and is always on everyone's side. She's a helper without allegiance to anyone other than herself and her sisters.

Their brief cameo was a very big deal to those of us who played the video game "Star Wars: Republic Commando" from 2005. Those 4 clones known as Delta Squad were the main characters of the entire video game. So that was a nostalgic little callback for a lot of us.

It was the first time a MAJOR storyline from an animated series was carried over into the live action canon films. I'm sure it confused the casual audience, since to them, all they remember was Maul dying in The Phantom Menace and that was that. It was the first time the animated series felt legitimate, like it was something you were missing out on if you were confused on how Darth Maul was back. Also, this episode was written by George Lucas' daughter, Katie! So fun to see his children being involved with Star Wars just like him!
