Hi everyone and welcome back! This was long, but a grand adventure! We saw one movie with Godzilla, so Kong was over due! Expect Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom tmrw!

oh king kong... this is one of those movies i love but dont watch every year(last time was 4 years ago in school) but everytime EVERYTIME i watch it i always cry at the end. i just turned 18 years old and i still cry like a baby when i watch the end. i mean like Dawn said "he still stands his ground" he is a real hero and idol for me. he was so storng and misunderstood. may he R.I.P ALWAYS........ this is one of those movies you have to watch in life

This version of King Kong frustrates me as much as it entertains me.
My favourite bit is:
"What about Fay? She's a size four."
"She's doing a picture for RKO."
They're talking of course about 1930's Hollywood leading lady Fay Wray. And the picture for RKO she's busy shooting is King Kong.

I enjoyed the fact that Dawn brought up Peter Jackson's name during this reaction. He definitely has a signature look to his movies, and Kong looks like it was cut right from LOTR's cloth - they both have that almost pastel/sepia thing going on. For me, the movie-watching experience becomes even more rewarding when you're aware of stuff like this.

What Peter Jackson does best is just make really grounded adventures that completely draw you in. So for that I totally enjoyed this 2005 King Kong.
