What Matt has experienced is essentially a concussion, no “powers” have been altered but just like everyone else in that situation their senses ARE effected, hence why he temporarily went deaf. Also the punisher already knew Matt had been at his place after he used his own smoke bomb against him, something Matt lifted from the punishers place earlier in the episode.

2020-05-07 11:18:05 +0000 UTCRegarding Matt's sense of smell, if you remember season 1 he could smell the cologne of people from 4 storeys up, through walls. So smelling blood from a few feet away isn't out of the ordinary for him.
