2021-08-28 05:52:34 +0000 UTCI remember the first time I saw this movie. I popped the DVD in at my mom and dad's house, sitting back - already feeling that these Pixar movies are proving to be something to pay attention to - and already aware of the trivia piece: This movie won animated film of the year, and apparently was launching the studio into a kind of independence. As soon as the title appeared and the music swelled, I choked up, right away understanding why this film deserved it's acclaim. I even had to wipe a tear typing this just now. Onto the reaction. <3

2018-11-02 04:29:44 +0000 UTCI love Pixars movies and I really hope you’ll watch more of them! A few ‘Fun Facts’: Did you recognize the voice of Bruce the shark (“Hello...”)? That would be one Barry Humphries aka Dame Edna, though you might better know him as the Goblin King from The Hobbit! Also, one of the other sharks, Chum is voiced by Bruce Spence who played The Mouth of Sauron in LotR. Pixar has a “lucky charm” in John Ratzenberger who has lent his voice to every feature movie they have ever made, he played the school of fish that showed Marlin and Dory the way.

2018-10-30 20:16:40 +0000 UTCThe sharks saying "Ugh humans, think they own everything. They're probably American.'' and the dentist saying ''i saved him at the reef'' are things i never caught when I was a kid. Life lessons with Disney.
