Comments

Are the full reactions without the movie?

Hi Layla! I believe you already found our link. Thanks for visiting our page! Hope you'll drop by again soon! :)

Storm Akima

Thank you! Sorry. I'm new here.

Rae

Or scroll down, rather.

Armchair Wizard

@Layla Rae, so some of the reactions are on their YouTube channel of the same name, and the rest are in the link on this very patreon page. Just scroll up a bit and you will find the Google Drive link.

Armchair Wizard

Hi! I'm a new patreon! I was wondering if I could have the links to all the Marvel films you've reacted to?

Rae

Hi Joshua-Lewis! I hope so soon! We will pump out videos faster once I'm more full time here... hopefully by summer! We'll see! I will put How to Train Your Dragon 2 on another POLL soon so we can all vote! Eventually, I want to watch everything with Mom and Kim!! But that'll take a long time, lol! XD :D

Storm Akima

Are you guys going to watch "How to train your dragon 2" I loved your first reaction

No problem. I love the franchise so much too! :D

KieranT

I loved JP so much! Especially the 1st one! Even though Kim and Mom aren't 'exposed' to movies and shows besides our channel... I was quite surprised Kim has seen absolutely nothing when it comes to most movies and shows! She knew there are dinosaurs in these movies, but has no idea on the premise and who plays in them. That would be amazing to watch with them! I did really enjoy Jurassic World too! I know a few don't care for it... but I just love the franchise! Thanks so much for your request! I'll put this on a future POLL! :D

Storm Akima

Hi Drew! Thank you so much for your comment! I always love reading what you have to say! :D I will remind them after we watch the first part! They do understand a lot of it, but there are so many details, so they could definitely get that confused. Good point! I never would of thought to clarify that! I so can't wait to watch The Two Towers with them! I'm working late today and tmrw.. but I'm going to try to arrange it where we can watch this and Black Panther somehow mid week :) Yay! Thanks again for your opinion! :)

Storm Akima

Thanks so much Sherianna!! This is definitely an exciting adventure! I can't wait to watch more!! Rewatching this series really just pulls me right back in to it's epic beauty! :D

Storm Akima

I love the Planet of the Apes and will try to put in time soon to view both series! I want to hear both commentaries made by cast and the writers... thanks again for this info! :D

Storm Akima

That does sound interesting, Rachel! I so want to check it out now!! XD

Storm Akima

Thanks for your recommendation, Johnathan! I will try my best to make time for that! I may do that when I make time to workout so I can focus more on it! I love those extra details and I know just watching a movie with such epic proportions doesn't do it justice... so thanks for sharing this information! Even though I already knew there was so much history... I'm still blown away by the descriptions everyone has been providing us... I can't imagine what the commentaries will be like!! The whole idea with the Orcs and Urukhai make a lot of sense now! ... must watch! LOL! Thanks again! :)

Storm Akima

So easy to get lost in the music for sure! So beautiful!! :)

Storm Akima

LOL, Howard Shore is amazing! You can comment that as many times as you wish! He's that good! I get lost in his scores every time! Thanks again for your nice comment, Rachel! I'm so happy you always enjoy our reactions! We really do have fun together and what a journey this will be!! XD

Storm Akima

When I click on part 1 it just starts playing the video.

Edwin Wickey

I agree. Sean Astin was especially funny. The information provided by the writers are my favorite commentaries. Personally I am more interested in the story than in film secrets or how they shot a particular scene. Writers tend to provide the story information more than directors. The writers commentary on "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" is another good one.

King Henry Beauclerc

I love all of the commentaries! The writer/director commentary is fun to watch because it is so informative, but the cast commentary is just hysterical.

Rachel Dominas

The best film score ever written in my opinion.

Drew

Great reaction as always! I have one recommendation. When you have time, when editing, rendering, or simply relaxing watch the extended version with the Writers/Directors Commentary. Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Philippa Boyens, are all co-writers and they go into detail about the lore, any changes from the book, and they explain about nearly everything shown in the movies. For example, it is more for the Two Towers, but I hadn't read the books before and did not understand that the Orcs are Sauron's and the Uruk-hai are Saruman's. And that they had a particular rivalry. The writers in the commentary also explain more of what happen with Galadriel and her test. Also, they explain about the Balrog, apparently Gandalf and the Balrog are both beings called Maiar. They explain so much. It is just my recommendation. It is truly one of my favorite commentaries to listen to.

King Henry Beauclerc

Edwin I had the same problem, here's what worked for me. Go into the folder, and click on part 1. Then it should take you into yet ANOTHER folder and you should see both parts.

Armchair Wizard

No not at all, I appreciate the reply! No, I'm still not seeing it. Yes, I clicked tyr link, then I clicked lord of the rings folder, then the fellowship folder. I see the file for part 1 in there, but still not part 2.

Edwin Wickey

I'll try not to say this on every video but serious shout out to Howard Shore. His score is just pure genius. The last piece of music "The Breaking of the Fellowship" is my all time favorite song from a movie score. Such a masterpiece. Thanks for another wonderful reaction guys! Can't wait for the next!

Rachel Dominas

I love you guys so much, you guys are such a joy to watch with when you react to these amazing films and yeah I totally agree that LOTR's settings are so breathtaking to see :D

Sherianna Reacts

I re-watched all the films in anticipation of these reactions recently and this is a thought that came to mind. Your fam seems to be following along really well so I don't think this will be too big of an issue, but I have a feeling that there might be a chance that they become confused between Rohan and Gondor in the next film. Again, I think they will probably be fine but if they do get confused just remind them that Aragorn is the Heir to the thrown of Gondor, not of Rohan.

Drew

That was an awesome reaction, I cannot wait for Two Towers (my favorite of the three) all the stuff involving Rohan is just brilliant. I know scheduling can be difficult but I definitely think you should try to watch the two halves of TT as close together as possible.

Drew

Hi again kati! Did it disappear for a while? I'm glad it's back! Yay! Mom is hilarious and a great sport! She saw the hat, laughed and immediately put it on! She loves Gandalf! XD Gimli and Legolas are so amazing together! I love their friendship and how it grows throughout their adventure! There are a lot of nice relationships throughout these movies.. especially the hobbits! I so can't wait to watch Two Towers!! Let the craziness begin! :D

Storm Akima

Hi Andre! Thanks so much for your input! I love these details! I'll tell this to Mom and Kim! That is so interesting! Orks really have bad lives, but I never knew how bad... just a general idea. Wouldn't want to run into them! Do they feel pain too or is that just a mental state because they're so full of rage? Thanks again for your description!! :)

Storm Akima

Can you guys please react to all of the Jurassic parks and the Jurassic world(s)? They're so good and as iconic as the lion king!

KieranT

Hi David! That has been requested a lot and we haven't seen any of that yet! That would be great! I will put a TV series POLL up when we get a little bigger here so we can free up some needed time from our jobs. Once we can support ourselves, I plan on having us watch multiple shows as much as we can per month. This is high on that list! Thanks so much for the request!! :)

Storm Akima

Hi again Francois! You're welcome and thanks so much for watching! I'm so happy you are enjoying our reactions, especially to this movie series!! Kim is hilarious!! XD

Storm Akima

Hi Edwin! Let me know if you still can't see it... silly question, but did you click on the link here and it doesn't work? Are you accessing from a phone or tablet? I'm still learning as I go, but on my computer, the video looks fine so I'm curious. Hope it worked out ok! :)

Storm Akima

The Rohan theme is quite possibly my favorite piece of music ever written for film.

Drew

That's so weird! It's still not showing up for me.

Edwin Wickey

Thank you! I truly enjoy your movie reactions especially this saga.

Francois

thank you for a great reaction. I just came here for the explanation of the orks. Basically in the first age of middle earth there was a great war with a more evil force of than sauron. Basically a god and he captured elves and tortured, deformed and corrupted them until they became an evil race onto themselves. There is evidence that they still have very long lifes which supports this therory. This is however just one of multiple theories, Tolkien never gave one definitive answer.

It's showing now, yay! I loved watching your reaction as always. "Is it secret, is it safe?", that cracked me up so much :D Your mom is so precious (no pun intended). Speaking about favorite characters, even as teenager (I was 15, I think, when the first movie came out), I'd always been partial to Gimli. I loved all the hobbits of course, and Legolas, Gandalf, and Aragorn (even Boromir, especially near his death, when you can really see what sort of man he was), but Gimli is my favorite. He is a little bit of a comic relief in the movies comparing to what he was in the books, but still - Dwarves are the best! Also, this developing friendship between Gimli and Legolas is a beautiful thing, considering the history between two races, and one of my favorite things about LoTR as far as relationships are concerned. As always, can't wait to see your next reaction. Two Towers, omg, this movie is so good.

kati

Hey I would love for you guys to react to Agents of Shield in the future.

Nudeldifudel

I don't know about anyone else, but the file for the 2nd part isn't showing up.

Edwin Wickey

Awesome reaction, Kim screaming when the troll found Frodo was the funniest thing ever 😂 And it’s great how engrossed they both are already, I saw Kim getting quite emotional at the end with Frodo and Sam on the boat. There are so many moving moments in this trilogy, but I think that boat scene is my absolute favourite. The music is so serene and beautiful and gaaahhh I just love these movies so much. Can’t wait for the next part! I’m excited to see what Mom and Kim think of Treebeard and the Ents in the next movie, and they get to meet Théoden and Éowyn!! Exciting stuff.

Jack B

Nevermind, I realized I have to click on the Lotr link WITHIN the link. Derp.

Armchair Wizard

It's the same for me :(

kati

The thing about the Ring is that it's not just a matter of willpower. The Ring's ability to literally "take you over" is actually quite limited. What the Ring CAN do, however, is "draw out" the desires and wishes you already have. Frodo just wants to avoid conflict and return to the Shire, thus so far he's been alright. Boromir, on the other hand, is desperate to protect his people and restore honor and dignity to mankind. Ultimately, it is Boromir's love for his country and his profound sense of duty which the Ring twists into fulfilling its goals. The Ring can erode minds and wills: transforming love into hate and drawing out the darker parts of your nature. In this sense, the Ring isn't an external evil, but rather an embodiment of the evil that exists within everyone. As for the soundtrack, it's undoubtedly one of the best ever made, and there is still plenty more to come. In fact, after it was released, the trilogy was voted "Best Movie Soundtrack" for six years in a row.

John Jimmson

I'm still not seeing it. That's weird.

Armchair Wizard

ok I got it. Just needed to be patient I suppose, although it is hard to be patient with LotR! lol

King Henry Beauclerc

Yeah I am not seeing it either.

King Henry Beauclerc

I don't know if I'm the only one, but for me it still shows only part 1 of Fellowship in the Drive.

Armchair Wizard

Aaaaaahhh! Where is this on the tracker???

Shawn Lester

Don’t forget Black Panther is out on digital on May 8th. Are you going to watch Avengers after? Or do you think you could avoid spoilers until It’s out on August 13th?
