Athena - Character Introductions

Athena - Part 1 comes out on Friday, a collaboration between myself and FontSize. Ahead of that let's introduce you to the cast.

Dionara aka Athena
Athena, whose real name is Dionara, is a kind-hearted and incredibly powerful mutant in a world where some beings have evolved to possess fantastical abilities. She is among the most powerful of her kind: able to absorb matter, size and even the powers of others. Her power has made her lonely, however. Being the only one able to stand up to her hero-turned-villain mentor, Zeus, she was able to defeat him. Killing him in the process. The event made many fear her, and Athena lost faith in herself and doubted her self-worth after failing to control her abilities. She was broken, listless and adrift in her life until she met Leo.

Leo
Leo is intelligent, kind and generous to a fault. All traits that drew Athena to the, self-admittedly, very short man. Standing at only 5ft tall, Leo has had to deal with constant mockery and abuse from others around him. He’s frequently ignored and unvalued despite being very proficient at nearly everything he turns a hand to. He has suffered loss after loss, being orphaned and then spurned by many foster families. Despite everything, he still tries to maintain a positive outlook.
