Movie Reactions 2026 (Channel and Patreon Updates and Give Your Suggestions!)

Hello all apologies in advance for the extra long post.

First and foremost, I want to give the current updates to the Movie Reactions. Given being sick for weeks and Rocco also not doing well, I have decided to move "The Time Machine" reaction to later in February. This gives me time to film it and time for my editor to edit it. Starting in March, things will go back to normal. You will be getting two polls relatively soon (you have at least a week to think of suggestions) for a New Movie Series (reactions out the first of every month) and Extra Movie Reactions for the next few months as well.

I will also be working throughout the first half of this year to (hopefully) get caught up on the Marvel movies as well for my channel. Fingers crossed I can land Brave New World on my birthday seeing as it's the movie I'm most excited for (duh). Copyright for these movies and truly just the edits themselves are a pain so they do tend to take a lot longer than most reactions I work on.

Last but absolutely not least, I would like to work on some Horror Movie Reactions that will be uploaded around Halloween (throughout October-ish) to my channel. I would love any input/suggestions of what horror movies you think I would like but also what would do well for my channel (let's stay away from super obscure) I'd also love a lot of variety. Some new, some old, some campy, some genuinely scary, etc. I have seen a lot of horror movies so it might be a little difficult to find the right suggestions but I would love any ideas from you all. I'm sure there's big ones I haven't even thought of. And yes, Im trying to determine these very early on so I can film them throughout the year and get them edited by October. Who says I can't break out my Halloween setup in April?

If you do want to give movie suggestions to any of these, please label them below in the comment section with "Movie Series", "Extra Movie" or "Horror Movie" just so I can keep them all straight. And just for clarification, if you want to suggest Horror Movie/s for either of the Patreon polls, that is absolutely fine. The way I see it, you all on here get first dibs. If you'd like to share a fantastic horror reaction with my youtube audience, great. If you'd like to hoard it for yourselves, that's fine too.

Thank you all so much in advance for any suggestions/ideas you can give me.

Much Love,

Sesska

I don't know how much these have been mentioned before to you but I would definitely recommend Weapons (Horror reaction), 28 Years Later (Horror reaction), The Long Walk (Extra reaction).

Movie Series: DCOMs (The Cheetah Girls, High School Musical, Camp Rock, Starstruck, Lemonade Mouth, Teen Beach Movie, Descendants)

Jess reacting to Hammer Horror would be wonderful, same with the Universal Horror films from way back when. The Dracula series would also include The Brides of Dracula. The Devil Rides Out would be another magnificent one. Love the Hammer films as much as the Universal ones. You use the Classic Who vibe as comparison which is apt. They all feel like Britain’s answer to Roger Corman. First got into them about twenty years ago now. After first getting into stuff like Bela Lugosi as Dracula and Boris Karloff as the Frankenstein monster, plus the other monster films/horror films of the era, I then dived into Hammer. Big delight was seeing younger Peter Cushing and Sir Christopher Lee.

Thanks for reaching out to all of us Jess & I hope you and Rocco feel better soon. I'm fairly rubbish when it comes to movie suggestions, but horror is much more my bag, so will go with a couple of suggestions: Horror: Salems Lot (1979 version), adapted from a novel by Stephen King. comes in 2 parts, each 1.5 hours; Horror: UK Hammer Horror Production: Dracula (came out in 1958) and/or any of it's sequels, namely: Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966); Dracula Has Risen from the Grave (1968); Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970); Scars of Dracula (1970) - You might appreciate one of the actors but I'll say no more; Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972); The Satanic Rites of Dracula (1973); One other Vampire themed UK Horror (stand alone film): Twins of Evil (also known as Twins of Dracula) - 1971 Why I'm raving about Hammer Horror/old UK horror, is because it's like American Horror but on a Classic Who style budget. Both Classic Who & Hammer shared some of the same writers and actors.

Continuing with the Rocky movies would be great. The way she’s talked about the Alien films, Jess has seen those. Think she’s not seen the newer Terminator films, and she saw the first two at the very least. Dirty Harry would be fun. What Lies Beneath and especially Identity would be great. Jess has recently mentioned that she has in fact seen The Thing. She mentioned being traumatized by that one specific scene which is why I always kept holding off recommending that film. I did come close to saying it, with the time stamps of where she could fast forward and a note saying, “You don’t need to see the one scene.” I’ve seen other reactions to The Thing and that movie is a gold mine for reactions.

Talked some recently with my brother about the 28 Later series. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any of the films. Or if I have, I’m not recalling them well. I’d have to get to them to share the newest ones with Jess as I think she has seen at least the original. Third one’s got Jodie Comer and Ralph, so I’m down for that. Funny you bring up Mission Impossible as my brother talked some about that where yeah, the second one is the worst, and you follow it up with, honestly, the best one of the series, or at least the third one is my pick for best Mission Impossible film. We talked about Philip Seymour Hoffman as Davian, and we talked about how crazy it is that Mission Impossible III just decided that they were going to have one of the best, most underrated villains in a movie ever. Like you said, the rewards on the other end. That was my thought when I saw Mission Impossible 2 with Jess, thinking, “Good thing the third one’s next.”

I'm so sorry you are still sick, Jess - and that Rocco is poorly. Got everything crossed that you both get better very soon. Movie series: I'd love for you to continue with the "Rocky" reactions. I think you'd really fall in love with some of the characters. I'm guessing you have seen the "Alien" and "Terminator" franchises? (Apologies if you've been asked about these before) I'd love to see you react to those. Similarly I'd be fascinated to see what you'd make of the "Dirty Harry" movies. Horror movies: The Thing (1982), What Lies Beneath (2000), Identity (2003).

Movie series : i don't know if you have seen them already, but i'd love to see you react to Pirates of the Caribbean Extra movie : Tenet Horror movie : i know you already watched IT(2017) but it might be fun to revisit it after having seen Welcome to Derry

Both horror and movie series, after seeing The Bone Temple I'm definitely putting in a vote for 28 Later. It's actually kind of like Mission Impossible, where if you can muscle through the crappy second movie, there are some big rewards on the other side.

More than enough time has passed, you should get back to The Godfather trilogy and watch Godfather 2.

One for Extra movie, and one that is rarely reacted to, 'A Matter of Life and Death' (1946) also known as 'Stairway to Heaven'. It is, I think, one of the most visually beautiful movies ever made. It is possibly the best movie ever made by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, although other would disagree.

Sounds like it could be a great year! Movie series: Personally, as disconnected as they are I love the Cloverfield movies and do think they'd be a lot of fun if you haven't seen them already. Probably a long shot as well, but the X-Men movies I'd like to see. Extra movie: Red, White, and Royal Blue. Such a fun romantic movie and makes you feel something too. Horror movie: Hereditary- only movie thats ever truly freaked me out but damn is it good Ready or Not- such a fun campy movie, less scary but can be intense (also getting a sequel this year)

Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Zack Snyder’s Justice League !
