Amazing to think we are finally here. I remember you saying in the early days that it would be well into the 2020s by the time you made it all the way through Classic Who... and now here we all are! Your introduction did make me feel a little emotional - I imagine it'll feel even more so this time next week.
When you were talking about the outfit at the end, I thought you were going to say something like, "Impractical? Look at some of the things they made Tegan / Peri etc wear!"

Jesus, that is an amazing dress. LOVE the color. Wonderful to hear you say that it would be your ideal companion ensemble, and you do look great in it. Some people, not me, but some people might call it impractical. You say to them, “Well, insert your name here, I’m not leaving the TARDIS.” Plus, I would note that as you are the proprietor of the spa, you need to look your best when running said spa. An added bonus is that the green matches with our little green friend who runs the spa with you. Raising my hand in response to your question of who’s emotional. Nice that you have Cersei and Rex on display keeping you company. Yes, Doctor Who was the show with which I met you, so to speak, and we are reaching the end. Love all your words in the pre-episode talk, and I adore how you go into this final hour with the perfect “Just have fun out there.” mentality. It does warm the heart that Seven and Ace are the final Doctor and companion duo for the end. It strictly speaking wasn’t intended to be the final Doctor Who story. It was, however, surmised that although there were plans for future seasons, it was looking more and more likely that it was a very real possibility that the series would be getting the ax. Love the befuddlement with the cats. First thought would have been that the black cat was connected to Boris Karloff, but alas, he died twenty years prior to this. Shame as Boris in Doctor Who would have been lovely beyond belief. Turns out it involves the Master. One last story with the Doctor and the Master in the classic era. For old time’s sake. A very fitting thing, as you say. And the Master adopts the feline look. Almost makes the Master look like our dear old Bela, whom he too would have been MAGNIFICENTLY beautiful in Doctor Who had he lived to see it premiere. One small thing is that Bela never sported fangs as Dracula. Yeah, you believe that one? The most famous Dracula never has fangs. Great set up of Ace being curious about the old gang. God, even in their quieter moments, Sylvester and Sophie have such wonderful energy. Cheetah people get wonderful reactions. I’m a cat person, as you know, so I appreciate your words about no cat-on-cat violence. Love how Patterson is a testing man leading your reactions to him, and yes, he is too much. Ace getting in some good work with the war cry, we love. Great how you anticipated the last shot. We end on the cliffhanger of Ace with the Sith eyes. And now I’m struggling not to cry with the knowledge of only one Classic Who reaction left. Next week will be an emotional day. Looking forward to it. Meantime, this reaction is lovely, Jess, thank you.

"So what's so terrible about Perivale?", "Nothing ever happens here.", The Doctor and Ace, "Survival"
Nice choice of outfit for the end of your journey.
The writer of this story is Rona Munro. She later wrote the 12th Doctor/Bill story "The Eaters of Light" and so is the only writer to write for both Classic and New Who.
"Have you ever heard of survival of the fittest, son, eh? Have you ever heard of that? Life's not a game, son. I mean, I'm teaching you the art of survival.", Paterson, "Survival"
Episode title detected.
Paterson is played by Julian Holloway who was in a whole pile of the "Carry On ..." films. BTW: He also did some voice work for "The Clone Wars" series.
"I wouldn't be that age again if you paid me, would you?", "I can't remember. It's too long ago.", Paterson and the Doctor, "Survival"
What's the Doctor's age now? 953 as of "Time and the Rani" - but who knows.
"And the other bloke turns to him and says, what are you doing? You can't outrun a lion. The bloke turns to him and says, I don't have to outrun the lion.", Len talking to Harvey, "Survival"
The old "outrunning the bear" joke is not worth commenting on - but the actors are. They are the comedy duo "Hale and Pace". Len is played by Gareth Hale - but apparently he and Norman Pace switched roles at the last minute just before recording.
"One finger can be a deadly weapon.", The Doctor, "Survival"
"Venusian karate" as seen in "Inferno" etc.
"Go on, go away! Go on! Shoo! Dog, go away!", The Doctor, "Survival"
That's Pepsi (JNT's dog) again!
"Why, Doctor. What an unexpected pleasure.", The Master, "Survival"
The Master has a story with the 7th Doctor - it makes sense.
BTW: Here's a fun fact, (which I've delayed mentioning until this story). Sylvester McCoy, Sophie Aldred and Anthony Ainley all share the same birthday.
"Want water. It will make me well very fast.", Karra, "Survival"
It was sweltering hot during the recording days - Sophie Aldred suffered from dehydration. And pity the poor Cheetah people.
Karra, here, is played by Lisa Bowerman. Afterward the Classic Who run, she was involved in the audio dramas - best known for playing the archaeologist Professor Bernice Summerfield
An archaeologist companion of the Doctor? - that's interesting.
"But what happens when the next lion turns up?", The Doctor, "Survival"
