Ladylike Control, Redfer and Nimrod.... and Jenny - the Drs daughter and capt H Avery and son... and 'Me' and Clara and Sabalom Glitz (and im sure there will be others who don't immediately come to mind)..... are all potentially 'wandering' around the universes righting wrongs and exploring... Any of which carry potential for a return Adventure one day (albeit some of them would be different performers) speaking of which - how fed up is rogue going to be next xmas when he finds out the Doctor he fancied has changed... to say nothing of what Susan is going to have to say about it all! (im assuming both storylines will wrap as part of the special!) its one of the things that is unique about the longevity of the series perhaps? most/all other series i can think of live in the 'now' of when they were filmed.... where as dr who at 63 years old proudly says to its 8 year old newbie fans... wanna know who this is and why you parents are frightened? well go back and watch some wobbly, black and white old tosh from the mid 1900s... and somehow - any old how - that's exactly what they DO! Its what what we've always done! i remember being a teenager at the local dr who club that ran once a month and some bloke would copy old episodes i had never dreamed of watching onto video for me. and now you are doing it - and i hope in generations to come - new fan will watch relic copies of 'The Reality War' and be led down what is maybe the most magical rabbit hole in Media history. <3 <3 <3
