Supernatural 13x09 Full Reaction!

Had a smile hearing you state needing the update on where Jack is. Ask and ye shall receive, like you said. Man, you have the wonderful heart, Jess, with how you clocked him looking for Mary. Maybe you didn’t know it for sure, but how you surmised the likely possibility was great. Meaning you sidestep the episode sort of hinting that Jack’s gone off the deep end. As Dean notes when they look things over, the idea isn’t implausible. I give Dean a lot of credit how he stresses that he’s not pulling an “I told you so.”. He also says that Jack’s grown on him. Sam’s right too that the evidence was largely circumstantial and there were unanswered questions. I found myself in between the two of hoping for Sam to be right whilst conceding Dean’s saying that they did need a game plan if need be. Sweet how there’s little fanfare of Jack saying that he’s not gone off the deep end. He does give Kaia a start. The heart does go out to the poor girl. Like the smile you had at Kaia’s line about trying to survive Trump’s America. Heard that one, and said, “Man, the show didn’t play with that shit, did it? Goddamn, that is good.” Yeah, it gets you when Jack reveals to the boys about Mary. Lord, did Dean have a look there. Shared thing of respecting the boys’ honesty with expressing what they were afraid of with what Jack was doing. Leads to that sweet moment of Jack saying that the boys and Castiel are his family, and yeah, Dean agreeing with that, good moment that was, and I appreciated the “Aw” at that part. And later, it’s great how Jack says he is home. The angels are not living up to their names what with the killing. Dean even mentions the death sounds angely which served as good foreshadowing. Poor Kaia, not thinking that people would come for her. I anticipated your reaction to Dean forcing her at gunpoint to get in the car. My own reaction is about the same as yours with the expression matching Sam’s. You feel sad for Dean more than anything, as he now has the hope to save his mom, and he is that desperate. That part I get. Not saying what he did was right, rather, it makes sense. They make the hell of effort to get to the bad place. Probably not ideal, but it sounds nicer than dealing with the vindictive angels. Fucked up when the desolate wasteland sounds better. Better the devil you know. At least the forces of Darkness are more upfront about their nefarious ways. Plus, the bad place has Bobby in it. They all get separated from the looks of it. Now Mary will get to know Jack. And the boys are in the land of potential Bettys. Not seen the next episode yet, so I can neither confirm nor deny the appearance or lack thereof of any Bettys. Your reaction to the idea is quite beautiful. Not sure what is there, as I said. Could be Betty. Could also be a Godzilla in nature, with Dean freaking out about Godzilla, to which Sam will have to clarify, “It looks like Godzilla, but due to international copyright laws, it’s not!” Still, if this does turn out to be the case, the boys should run as if it IS Godzilla. (Though it isn’t.) There is also the paramount concern you have for Jody. Knew that was coming. You insist that nothing happens to her. Considering that it’s still Kim playing Jody and knowing about her fierce as fuck declaration that was made after Charlie’s HORRIFICALLY offensive death, I’d say you’re probably good, Jess. And we have Patience back in the mix. Sad to see that she did make the effort to ignore her abilities, and now she has no choice. You spoke of how her dad will regret what he said, probably, yeah. See how it goes next week, which I’m likely to be a little bit late with, but I am looking forward to it. Thanks for the fun reaction, Jess.
