I'm sick :(
Added 2020-11-25 22:17:37 +0000 UTCHey everyone <3 So I've had a low fever that comes and goes and an increasingly bad sore throat for 3 days now. I have a doctor's appointment today. I don't have any covid-like symptoms like a cough, respiratory issues, or loss of taste or smell. No phlegm or stuffed nose. Might be strep? (Although no white spots on throat, it can be another strain I read?) I'll find out what the doctor thinks today.
I also have been tired, and have limited energy each day. That combined with this bad sore throat affecting my speech, I don't know about whether or not I'll get the last exclusive audio done properly, but maybe things will improve in time 🤔
Let's hope I get something that actually soothes this nasty sore throat today. So far hot tea, honey, cough drops, throat spray, ibuprofen, and gargling salt water have not helped the symptoms in the slightest.
Just wanted to keep y'all in the know. Thank you so much for your support and understanding <3
Update:
The doctor thinks I have strep or some other throat infection and has prescribed antibiotics and pain meds. She is not concerned about getting me tested for covid at this time due to my symptoms and lack thereof. Boyfriend is going to the pharmacy now to get the meds. ♡
