No worries on there not being much to say with this one. I must say that Rocco made me jump some with the barking. Not complaining or criticizing, mind you, just saying that I heard the barking, jumped and said, “The hell was that?” Then you had the response to Rocco’s barking, and that explained it. Yeah, there’s the big focus on the Banes family. The mom avoided practical advice by stepping into the creepy cellar even after seeing the creepy doll that you say would give your best friend a heart attack. The doll was on the unnerving side of things, so that sounds a sensible response. Sweet that the boys go to help Alicia and Max. Plus as Sam notes, until they hear more word from Castiel, not much else they can do. They show how long the one lady was at her villainy by the smell of the cellar affecting the boys. Think they should take comfort in the smell still affecting them. Was sort of nice with the family gathering. Love how you called out Dean with the wine. I mean, I think my palate is too sharp for wine. Depending on what varietal, I’m not opposed to it. Though if anybody brought Merlot to a party, I’m leaving. I am completely on Dean’s side with the vegan food. Happy for anyone who thrives on the vegan diet, great for them. It is not for me. They kill the witch, but not before losing Alicia. Yeah, it gets you, everything about Max’s reactions to it all. Your reactions to that were quite something, Jess. Now to Mary. You see her growing realization following the torture session, and how Ketch’s logic, such as it is, is more twisted than a barrel of pretzels. You would think that they’d have tighter security for Mick’s body. You would also think that they’d spin better bullshit about his death. We both are so done with Ketch. My blood began to simmer with his words about poor Magda. The blood definitely boils being reminded that they’re after Eileen. Now you’re worried that they’re after Garth as well. You made the comment of hating that Ketch’s tie does not match the pocket square, it made me check and say, “Oh, yeah, you’re right! That does clash!” And how fucking STUPID he is to think that he shouldn’t have been worried about the brass knuckles, simply because he’s no angel. (Big surprise there.) It’s still Mary using brass knuckles to give him a shot in the pills, which in this scenario is quite cricket. Quite lovely to see that part, even with the instinctual response of “OH!” when you see it. She did get the message out, however vague, leaving her boys in the dark. I hear you on the annoyance. The annoyance on my end is more that there’s never a good reason for the vagueness of the message, for instance, you posit that somebody else could listen to that message. Or in some cases, you are dealing with highly sensitive information, justifying the vagueness. Here, it would have helped to impart more precise information.
