Brand New Reward: Discord Server!
Added 2019-01-09 22:36:05 +0000 UTCI have now added Discord Server access to both tiers! If you'd like access, try the troubleshooting below!
Discord is a chatting app. The server will allow you to chat with me and each other, and build a stronger community. You can register here.
Troubleshooting:
- Go to your pledge settings, edit your pledge to me, and hit "update" without changing anything. This will refresh your pledge and there will be a big "Connect to Discord" button on the right. Better to use desktop or mobile browser than the app.
- Disconnect your Discord from Patreon, then reconnect it again.
- Try using the mobile browser or a desktop than the mobile app.

Got over 30 members on there, so it is working! Just gotta troubleshoot.

I've updated my pledge, clicked the Discord Rewards button, I've reset my Discord a few times, and I've tried unlinking then relinking my Discord to Patreon. I'll try it again just to make sure I wasn't messing anything up but maybe I'm doing something wrong

2019-01-10 06:57:55 +0000 UTCHey just chiming in to say it isn't working for me either. Clicking the 'claim discord rewards' launches the discord app but doesn't open or add a new channel. Are you sure the address you are giving it to distribute is the correct one? If all else fails you could message patrons with the channel link.

I've tried on mobile using the browser, the app, also on desktop with chrome. I've tried opening the link in both chrome and in the desktop app as well as trying mobile. :/

The reward definitely shows a discord reward like other patreons, but I have no idea if me not getting on is a patreon issue, a discord issue, or me being on mobile. I get home in about 30 minute though. I can test then
