Those Prince songs actually came from a film that Prince starred in called Purple Rain. Purple Rain is the sixth best selling film soundtrack of all time. Achara, if you have not seen Purple Rain, it would be a great film to react to. Awesome film. :)

2026-01-01 21:25:37 +0000 UTCKali did get shot. She just didn't die right away. In Mike's story you can see Kali sitting against a wall with the blood soaked shirt. The time feels long because of editing but from the time she is shot till the UpsideDown going bye bye is approximately 15 minutes.

And only people of means could have seen that so it feels really odd that the Duffers and Netflix decided to make something like that for only the select few. It feels very bougie. As for the Henry/Mindflayer thing at the end, I feel like it was to show that their relationship was symbiotic like Venom in the comics. And I think the point or theme at play when they had Henry not rejecting the Mind Flayer when Will is talking to him was to show that not all people can be saved. As Henry said, he made a choice just as Will made a choice to tell his friends, and Eleven's choice. Some people choose chaos good and some choose chaos bad. I wonder if the purpose of the cave was if Henry relives that traumatic event it would keep him from focusing on the task at hand. Like he would be depressed and sulking or something like that.
