I enjoyed and appreciated this movie a lot more after rewatching with you guys! You asked for trivia: - This is a modern adaptation of the 1978 movie 'Don' starring Amitabh Bachchan. They retained most of the story elements, the soundtrack, and some epic one-liners like 'it's not just difficult to catch Don.... it's impossible' (which is a pop culture thing now). The original movie did not have that plot twist in the end, though, and the good guy (Vijay) actually won. - The 1978 movie was co-written by legendary writer, poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar. This remake is directed by his son, Farhan Akhtar. Don 2 is great, too. Co-written and directed by Farhan Akhtar, it's a tighter story, and "has less fat" according to Jaby.
