Unfortunately, America IS the great satan. And Iran isn't a threat to us. Most sane people on the left and right don't think so either. Stop falling for the Israeli propaganda. They are not out allies they just pay our politicians off.

Way to much misinformation and assumptions can be made that can cause problems down the road. So, that being said, America gave asylum to the ousted King for a few reasons, a big one was that he was getting cancer treatments there. And he died during this embassy/hostage ordeal. The King actually was allies with Israel until Khomeini and the new regime took over. It seems you ladies are siding w/ the revolution and the Ayatollah Khomeini. The one that labeled America as "The Great Satan". And started Irans mission to destroy America and it's allies. They put a lot of the past wars in the middle east and the US in motion. He executed thousands if not more, including using children as "first wave" soldiers in their war with Iraq. Because of this revolution we had many terrorist attacks all over the world, including the attacks on 9-11. They have been and still are the world's leading supporter of terrorism. Iran went on to back/support terrorists groups like the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hamas, al-Qaida, the Islamic State. All of this was because of this revolution throwing over the government. Taking the Embassy was their way of showing the world that America can't stop them. One thing that most Americans left and right agreed upon is that Iran is one of America's biggest enemies/threats. They have come close to getting nuclear weapons built and they have sworn to use them against the US and it's allies, so Israels attack this past week was due to several factors but the fact that they have been stock piling plutonium to build nuclear weapons was a big reason. Even some of Iran's allies are backing out of or staying clear of this conflict with Israel. History is important.
