Marcus was a Navy Corps man (Medic). Ben Foster who played Axe is amazing in every role he's in. The entire cast was great, Peter Berg did a great job directing this.

The entire time of the film you feel like you are right there with them and not watching a film. Also, has a great young cast: Will Poulter, Joseph Quinn, Cosmo Jarvis, Michael Gandolfini, Kit Conner, and Charles Melton just to name a few.
