2025-03-12 19:37:17 +0000 UTCYou two should listen to Jeff Waynes War of the World musical, it is THE BEST adaptations of the novel and one of THE BEST albums ever produces, it is absolutely fantastic, the music is great and the story is great. And although it is an album, it is also a stage production so maybe watch that but it is well worth it. You will not be disappointed. It is also based on the original novel and not the moden movie so is set during Victorian times. The most recent stage production was narrated by Liam Neeso.

2025-03-11 21:20:57 +0000 UTCRemember this is based on HG Wells War of the Worlds set in modern times, its one of first ever SciFi stories and Germ theory was a relatively new and still quite "SciFi". Also the martians did not know about Germs, in the story its explained that the Martian's had long ago eliminated all Germs on their planet and had over their history forgotten about them.
