They dont have a problem with patrons making them aware of editing errors which allows them to keep the channel quality at a high standard. So basically yes it does matter.

I've been across multiple channels, if not several, and any legitimate channel has this setup. If you can share an example of a legitimate channel that shows content in its entirety, I'd be curious to see how they're doing that.

For them to show the entirety of each show or movie would require a licensing fee or something along those lines, per provider or studio. It would make the Patreon channel much, much more expensive. So the whole idea of the "watch-a-long" phrase is for each member to watch their own copy on whichever platform or device they choose, alongside the Patreon channel reaction.

2025-03-05 22:00:26 +0000 UTCHi Shaun, I understand your frustration. The reason why we don't show the movie as a picture in picture within the reaction because we are adhering to copyright rules. The reactions on Youtube are carefully edited so that they are within the parameters of fair use so that we can be allowed to keep the videos up. Requiring members to have their own copy of the movie to play along with our reaction allows us to share our reaction in full, while also avoiding piracy issues from showing an entire movie within our reaction.

Shouldn't we be getting better things than YouTube seeing as we are paying.....like every post should be available to watch in it's entirety on Patreon (without the need of your own film)
