I liked this one, though it isn't my favorite of the MCU movies either. I feel like they could have had a multiple movie story arch with Gorr and the damage he was doing with the killing of the gods. I do like how we got to see the manifestation of Eternity, which was pretty comic book accurate. The little girl who played Gorr's daughter is actually Chris Hemsworth's daughter.

2025-02-16 23:37:23 +0000 UTCDarn I thought Black Panther 2 was next, forgot about Thor LOL. This movie is fun. I think given Gor the God Butcher's comic backstory and Jane Foster's cancer most watchers anticipated a more serious movie but Taika Watiti kept it considerably light which is why it had mixed reviews coming out. I was more disappointed in how little the guardians were in this given how it was set up in endgame. Although I assume the Russos/Writers put that part in without really planning it out. despite all that there is still a ton of heart there. i also like how it ended with thor becoming a father as well as jane getting to go to valhalla having gone out as a hero
