I enjoyed his early movies up to and including The Family That Preys which is my favorite. My daughter grew up going to the plays live here in Atlanta with her god mom. She used to rewatch the plays on DVD as a kid. She is a writer and creator now and she would still go see a play live but she would not watch them on DVD anymore, they kinda lost their shine as she got older. We both enjoy his earlier movies, unfortunately they got so really basic and silly. The newer movies especially the Madea ones and the tv shows were really awful. I like TP I just wish he would broaden his scope of prospective, get some of these amazing female writers on staff, he could really make some more quality shows and movies if he would allow it to happen. I do appreciate him.

But homecoming isn’t any better than this movie. Maybe watch Tyler perrys divorce in the black or fall from grace instead. But honestly think homecoming is probably my least favorite one.
