The mailtruck bits are reference to the movie Poetic Justice starring 2pac and Janert Jackson. And You should also watch Menace to Society as most of the scenes are spoofed from that movie.

2024-10-19 11:52:41 +0000 UTCFun Trivia about Marlon Wayans: Marlon Wayans was actually cast as Dick Grayson/Robin in Batman Returns and shot scenes for the film but his scenes were cut because there were too many characters. He was set to make his debut as Robin/Dick Grayson in Tim Burton’s version of Batman Forever along with Michael Keaton back as Batman, Billy Dee Williams back as Harvey Dent and turn into Two-Face, and Robin Williams as The Riddler, and the film was to have a much darker tone than the previous films, but the studio thought the film was to dark and told Tim to lighten it up. Tim did not want to lighten the tone so he dropped out. Michael, Billy, and Robin dropped out because Tim dropped out. Then studio fired Marlon and picked up Chris O’Donnell because they thought audiences and comic book fans would not like an African American Dick Grayson. Man, I would have loved to have seen that Tim Burton version of Batman Forever though, and think how different Marlon Wayans career would have been if that film would have come out.
