2024-10-04 01:08:21 +0000 UTCAnother comedy to consider is Seeta Aur Geeta (1972), in my top 3 Hindi movies of all time. It's more of a comedy drama. It was written by Salim Khan (Salman's dad) and Javed Akhtar (Zoya & Farhan's dad). It's about twins separated at birth, one raised by a mean (but hilarious) aunt, the other raised to be independent and street smart. One day they cross paths... Both played by Hema Malini. The male actors are Dharmendra (she married him in real life, still married today) and Sanjeev Kumar who is considered one of the best actors ever in Hindi cinema (tragically died young in the early 80s). Seeta aur Geeta is an awesome movie with lots of humour, a great cast and a cool story with a funny female protagonist who kicks ass 🙂

2024-09-30 04:08:00 +0000 UTCOne of my fav comedies is Gol Maal the 1979 classic (it has nothing to do with the franchise with Ajay Devgan). A watchalong would be great! It's about a young modern guy who pretends to be very conservative in order to please his boss, but the boss catches him smoking & drinking and dressed the western way at a football game... then chaos ensues! It's a comedy that has aged perfectly.

I'm surprised to see the hate comments above, this is one of the best Hindi comedies, wayyyy better than Housefull, Partner and lots of other things people request 🙄 It's actually the remake of a Tamil comedy with Prabhudeva but I haven't been able to find it with subtitles 😩

Only jaby and achara reaction. Please. Available on Amazon prime. Jaby liking for Trisha contributed to a lot of views in 96. Please watch more middle class older 90,s and 20,s tamil movies. I miss jaby and achara getting million of views.
