If you want to watch another fictional musical film, highly recommend That Thing You Do! It is also musical comedy acted in, written, directed, produced by Tom Hanks. He also helped write a few songs in the film as well. Also, fictional band is portrayed by Tom Everett Scott, Johnathon Scheach, Steve Zahn, and Ethan Embry and they do their own singing and playing of the instruments in the film. Also Liv Tyler and Charlize Theron are in the film as well. Highly recommend the film.
