I love the 1st Mummy. I agree that sometimes less is more and this one is fun but a little too much. And just to ease any doubts Steph, its not always true that once you have kids the romance is gone. π My lovely bride and I have a beautiful girl, we will celebrate our 20th this May, and although the romance changes, it grows in priceless ways and we still can't keep our hands off each other. π

2025-02-14 14:58:05 +0000 UTCI love how Evy hops around to avoid the scorpions and Rick just walks through them and squishes them. The Mummy is easily the better film, but I do enjoy this one quite a bit. #3 can be skipped.

2024-04-11 22:52:09 +0000 UTCI love The Mummy franchise their is a third mummy film that continues the story of Rick, Evelyn, Alex, and Jonathan. Itβs called The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. They were Able to get Brendan Fraser, and John Hannah back as Rick and Jonathan, but they had to recast Evelyn, and Alex (had to recast Alex because next film takes place when Alex is in his early twenties). Funny that you should talk about them retiring because this film explores that. Also, they take the location from Egypt to China. Also, got a brand new villain Mummy in this film played by Jet Li. And also Michelle Yeoh joins the cast for the new Mummy film, as well. Itβs a fun entertaining ride. :)
