Carpet in the bathroom was sadly more common that you would think in the late 70's and early 80's. My condo built in 1979 used to have it and as soon as I could had the carpet switched to tile. They made a Scarface video game that was based on a scenario where Tony escapes the mansion at the end and rebuilds his drug empire while getting revenge. It basically was a GTA clone. The Howard Hawks and Ben Hecht dedication is for the 1932 Scarface movie that Hawks directed and Hecht was a writer.

2023-11-15 16:12:54 +0000 UTCIf you have not seen Scent of a Woman, got to check out that film. One of Al Pacino’s greatest performances and the performance he won his Oscar for. The film stars Al and Chris O’Donnell. Also, Chris O’Donnell also got a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in this film as well.
